"O" Display Underway!
Ryan Designer Homes are well underway with building our next exciting display home. The foundation is down, and the frame is up. Use your imagination and picture this....

With the unassuming name "O Display", this design pushes the boundary of integrating the elements with design. This particular plan has tested the team of Ryan Designer Homes and we feel it introduces a new level of building for privacy while offering a design that encourages your visitors to question where inside starts and finishes. Situated on the Pelican Waters canal system, this home is a delight for those that appreciate the marriage of innovative design, quality workmanship, and open plan living.

6 Star Energy Rating Energy equivalence rating is assessed through the shape and structure of a buildings design. The roof, walls, windows and floors all feed into the calculation of how energy efficient a home is.
Queensland building standards are quickly moving up the scale to greater energy efficiency and aiming for more comfort in the home.
- . March 2009 - there was an increase from 4 star energy rating to 5 star
- . May 2010 - the 6 star energy requirement for houses and townhouses was introduced in Queensland
The building industry has recognized that it is important for energy efficiency of homes to improve. Queensland Master Builders and Housing Industry Association are furthering consultations to ensure that the new requirements create the best outcome, and that costs are kept in check.

Finance Brokers vs Banks
Top 10 reasons a mortgage broker may be your financing answer:
- Mortgage Brokers specialise in commission based home loans, so it is in the brokers’ interest to find you a great deal and have it approved, or they don’t get paid. If they don’t get a result that suits you, you don’t pay anything!
- Complete Finance brokers work with an exceptionally large network of lenders to find you the most competitive mortgage rates and terms. It’s a perfect opportunity to use their connections to sort out the competition for your home loan, and save you money.
- Top brokers work one-on-one with each individual client. Your specific needs are evaluated and matched to a lender that best suits your financial situation. The loan application is done on your behalf, and the broker will liaise with the bank right through to settlement, keeping you informed throughout the process.
- Great brokers are not fazed if you’ve previously had a bank refuse you... they pride themselves in finding a lender who accepts a home loan that a bank may have turned down.
- With the best brokers you can expect experienced professional service that is client focused... aiming for your best outcome.

PROFILE

Robert Dean Construction Supervisor
Please join us in welcoming Rob, the newest addition to our Ryan Designer Homes team!
Robert's interest in building began as a youngster, hearing his Dad's construction stories over the family dinner table in Tweed Heads. By Rob's mid teens it seemed natural to be swinging a hammer for his Dad on the weekends.
In the 80's he acquired his Builders License and went on to build a solid foundation in concreting, running his own business until he came to the Sunshine Coast 2 years ago. He then stepped into the role of Building Supervisor and found it a natural fit, with his hands on management experience.
Joining Ryan Designer Homes 2 months ago, he is very much looking forward to the challenge and rewards of building individually styled quality architectural homes that our clients have come to know and expect from Ryan Designer Homes!
Family: Rob is quick to share the pride he has for his 24 year old son... a young man who is finding his unique path, and lining up for the wedding altar in a few months time.
Hobbies: Rob keeps fit with 5 day a week gym workouts. Another hobby he's planning back into his life... 1967- 68 fastback mustangs. Surprise Us: He revelled in high level art classes in high school and is looking forward to some time in the future for painting, pottery, and sculpture.

Testimonial - June 2010
We have been in our new home for about 5 weeks now and absolutely love it!!
Several people asked along the way if building our own home was stressful. Every time our answer was a resounding 'No'! You all made the process such a smooth one and kept us fully informed and involved every step of the way. At times, you all went over and above the call of duty to make sure that we got what we wanted and I'm sure we were quite demanding at times!
Our finished result is a highly individual house with beautiful flow throughout, a very high standard of finish and excellent attention to detail. It is also a home that has been perfectly matched to our lifestyle.
We would recommend Ryan Designer Homes without reservation (and frequently do to anyone who will listen) and would certainly build with you again if we can ever tear ourselves away from our new home.
Congratulations on your most recent HIA Award, it is very highly deserved."
Warm Regards Clare Andrews and Peter Braithwaite
